I am starting something new! Sharing my thoughts, and the thoughts of other amazing people on Black African Feminist Thought. Inspired by a class at Dartmouth called Black Feminist Thought, I saw how it was American Woman centric, and thought of creating this space to give a broader perspective, including the experiences of Black Women who are from the African continent and the Caribbean. These women experience issues linked to citizenship such as passport inequality issues, homesickness, culture shock or not really fitting into the American culture. And also religious upbringings and teachings. I hope to share stories and perspectives and give light to what Black African Feminist Thinkers are thinking about at the present moment.
